How to maintain your blessing (II)

Share

(Continued from last week)

YOU will never succeed in any business unless you believe in that business. The reason  you run from pillar to post is because you don’t believe in what you are doing. When you believe in what you are doing, you will stick to it, through good or bad. You must believe in the product you are advertising, you should be ready to defend your product and stand by it. Jesus believed in His product.

Some of us are living the Christian life as a hobby, it is not hobby. You take it as a hobby, that is why you are a Christian only when the goings are good.

When you believe Jesus because of the blessing you receive, when that blessing is no longer there, you are bound to abandon Jesus. Whether He blesses me or not, He is my Provider; whether He saves me or not, He is my Saviour; whether He delivers me or not, He is my Deliverer; whether He redeems me or not, He is my Redeemer.

If I put on the same attitude many so-called Christian put on, I would have abandoned my Saviour because of persecution, because of intimidation, because of hatred from my brethren, but here I am today.

In your own case, you want to be praised, you want people to appreciate you. We are not doing all this to be appreciated, we do it because we love people.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and there is anything praise worthy- meditate on these things” Philippians 4:8.

You are asked to refrain from speaking negative things, because thoughts and words to Jesus, it is true prayer. So, set a guard! You must believe because believing is our connection.

Whether He heals me or not, He is my Healer, whether He delivers me or not, He is my Deliverer; whether He saves me or not, He is my Saviour.

Those who have been suffering for a long time, I am telling you that Jesus is as close to you as He was to the woman of the issue of blood. Your prayers of many years are not lost.
