TIGER Woods is poised to make the golf world sit up as he eyes victory at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The 14-time Major winner fired his second bogey-free round of the week to move into the lead alongside Robert Rock.

Woods ended his two-year winless run with victory in his own 18-man tournament in December.

But victory against this stellar field would send out a loud message that the former world No1 is back and ready to reclaim his spot at the top of world golf.

The American knows, though, that with 14 players within four shots of his 11-under mark, it will not be a straightforward task.
