SAY unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you. Num.14 v 28.

You need to be very careful about what you say. God is a silent listener. Decree it upon yourself that it shall be well with you. God will confirm it as you speak.
Power transfer through the spoken word

The word of a father spoken by his son has the same power effect. For instance, a child has watched his father drive away a goat many times. The goat has become used to the word of warning from the man. When this child uses the same word the animal, does not have a choice but to flee. The goat runs away because of the word and not because of the child using it.

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matth. 18 v 18.
When you speak the word of God, heaven backs you up. That is why the word cannot fail. Whatever you do with the word here on earth is established in heaven. Jesus understood the power transfer principle of ‘ the word of God. During His earthly ministry, He came face to face with the devil. He did not engage him in an argument. He said and insisted that, “it is written.”

“And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a . pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He spall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.” Matth. 4 v 3-11.

What did Jesus mean when He said it is written? He was showing satan what God has said. The devil kept quiet on every occasion of hearing “it is written.” Satan himself knows that he cannot do anything against the word of God. There is transfer of power in the spoken word. Speak what God has spoken. Say what God has said and doors will open before you in the mighty name of Jesus.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22 v 28.

Decree a thing
You are the one to determine the extent God will work in your life. If you don’t decree anything, what will heaven establish? God is waiting to establish your decrees. Open your mouth and decree peace for your today and blessings for your tomorrow. It shall be according to your decree.
