The power of the spoken words (III)

Share

VICTORY comes by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony. The blood and the word are able to achieve the same results. This is the reason you cannot keep quiet about your testimony. As you speak out your testimony, you are scoring more victories. The devil cannot stand the power of witnessing.

Peter in the house of Cornelius
The Lord sent Peter to the house of Cornelius. People gathered to hear him testify about Jesus and His mission. As he stood speaking, the words of his testimony brought down the Holy Ghost on everyone who heard him.

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all) And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” Acts 10 vs 34,36,39, 40.

Through witnessing with the word, the power of God broke loose upon the Gentiles. Heaven repeated the pentecostal experience all over again because of the words of testimony  that Peter bore to the person and mission of Christ.

The disciples
After Jesus gave His disciples the commandment of what to do, He was received up to heaven. The disciples took the words they heard from Him and went everywhere witnessing and testifying to the truth of, the gospel. What followed the words of their testimonies were miracles, signs and wonders. If you want to see God demonstrate His wondrous works, use the master key of the word of God.

“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mk. 16 v 20.

Philip in Samaria
Philip was like a lone ranger in his mission to Samaria. He was however equipped with the master key of the word of God. He got to the city and began to use the key. The power of God fell so much that people trooped to meet him. Demons recognised the power of the words he spoke and they began to depart from people with loud cries.
“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city.” Acts 8 v 5-8.

As Philip kept using the master key, demons, sicknesses and diseases had nowhere to stay anymore. The news got to a man, who by evil powers, was exercising dominion over the city. This man had so much power that the whole city respected him. When he met Philip, the power of heaven overthrew his control over the city. He yielded to the superior power of God, which was released by the words of Philip’s testimony.
