BASKETMOUTH, with Eldee and Wizkid have completed work on the comedian’s single titled “Where You Dey”.
Recently, Godwin, who had gone on to live in the UK, came to Nigeria and both brothers entered the studio for a collaboration with Eldee D Don and Wizkid for the single.
A musician before he made it in the comedy industry, Basketmouth is trying his hand again in the profession that brought him to the entertainment scene.
The comedian admits to have fallen in love with rap music in the 90s. He took his love a step further by collaborating with his elder brother, Godwin, and a few other friends to form a rap group named The Psychopaths.
They experimented in the studios but never released an album or any single.
While Godwin and Basketmouth got admitted into University of Benin, the other members of the group went their different ways putting a temporary stop to their group. Bright and Godwin continued at Uniben by forming an affiliate group which later collaborated with the likes of Faze, Dare Art Alade and others.
A complete album is now in the works. The single will be released in April, 2012.
