The last has definitely not been heard about the protracted  battle between Chrome Night Club owner, Ladi Akindele, and  his landlord.

Admitting that he was taken to  court on December 17,2011, Ladi, however, has  denied reports that he has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison till  January 25,2012, until the case of issuance of dud cheques  against him should have been sorted out.

“As you can see,  today is January 3 and I’m here in Ikoyi talking to you.  Although, I went to court for charges of assault, my staff and I  were granted bail immediately”, he reacted.

On the dud cheque, he said it was not true as he did not give out dude  cheques. “I simply stopped the payment by writing the bank  when Ahize failed to tender the agreement between him and  Tribeca to prove there is no conflict with the new lease,’
