ShareADEJOKE Kubrat, daughter of Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, last Sunday tied the nuptial knot with her heartthrob, Abdulatif Taiwo, son of Alhaji Umaru‘Saro, in a superlative wedding that brought Lagos to a stand still.
That day, gale and gaiety literarily took residence at the Iga Idungaran Palace of the monarch as the nikai was chaired by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while Governor Fashola was the special guest.
Living to the billing, the groom’s family did not allow the royal family to outdo them, they also hosted a lavish after-party at the new City Hall where the cream of the society were treated to champaign, vintage wine and sumptuous meals. Aare Razak Okoya, Justice Oguntade and Dupe, Chief Kessington Adebutu, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas and many others were at the ceremony.Share
