You must have heard that this is surely not jubilation time for Lagos big boy Toyin Subair. The CEO of troubled indige-nous pay TV provider HITV, has painfully lost his right to broadcast the lucrative English Premier league.

When he came into the scene years back, many lauded his daring spirit when he  broke the monopoly of the industry which was then dominated by DSTV.

He became the darling of all, when he wrestled the right to broadcast the English Premiership League from DSTV. That feat gave him a huge leap and became the toast of all. He rode like a colossus and his name rang so resonantly but not many believed that all would soon fizzle out.

Today ,what started like a fleeting rumour, has become a subject of discourse: Toyin Subair has   lost the golden goose, premiership right, that endeared many to HITV because  he couldn’t  secure loans to renew the terms of the  right, thereby giving room for DSTV, a arch rival, to snatch it back.

Insider revealed that his creditor bank did not come forth to rescue him because he didn’t service the previous loan facility in an encouraging manner .As a  new season will kick off in a matter of  weeks, Toyin has become elusive and have recoiled to nurse his wound
