Dupe Awe, a graduate of Mass Communication from Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State, is the brain behind Dorcas Cutz. In this interview, she says that despite being a designer, she doesn't usually have time to make her own clothes.

Definition of style.
MY definition of style is when you wear something that suits you, something that fits you. Style is not about wearing something because it is in vogue because what  might look nice on one person might not look good on you. For instance, when we sew dresses for people, there are some styles we sew for big people and some for slim ones so when you are talking about style, it is not just about what’s in vogue or  following fashion trend. It is about  wearing what fits you.

Beauty regimen
I make sure  I don't go to bed with  my make-up so, I cleanse my face every night and I also have my bath before going to bed. The  first thing I do in the morning is to drink a cup of water then, I exercise sometimes,  may be once or twice a week, then  I take my bath. I also make sure I eat fruits. I use Mary Kay product, for my powder and everything.

Choice of accessories.
Accessories? Yes, I like accessories, especially  anything that goes with the dress I'm wearing. I use both beads and gold. Gold is okay, but there are some clothes you wear like ankara that if you want the beauty to come out, it is better to wear beads with them because, it will come out  very nice. As for my shoes and bags, I don’t have a favourite designer, I pick anything that suits me . I don't usually look out for designers rather, I look out for colour and shape.

Favourite colour.
I like bright colours, like  orange and lemon.

What I will like to change about myself.
I love the way I am .I don’t think I will love to change anything. I am okay the way I am.

Favourite perfume
I like Carolina Herrera.

Accessory I cannot do without.
My earrings and wrist watch.

Most expensive item in my wardrobe.
The most expensive thing I have in my wardrobe  is my gold set.

What I can’t be caught wearing.
Short skirt. I am used to wearing long things and I don’t like exposing my body.

Opinion on toning.
I don’t have anything against toning, it brings about your real colour and beauty, you know it is different from bleaching so, I am not against it. It is okay, I tone too, it brings out one's colour and beauty.

Special treat .
If I want to give myself a special treat, I go to Dubai.

My clothes.
I don’t have time to make my own clothes even as a designer because I can’t leave a customer’s cloth and be sewing my own. Though I sew for myself at times but most times, my tailors sew for me .

My hair.
I like adding extension so I fix a lot.

Secret of  beauty.
I would say I eat well and I believe if you are happy within you it would show in you outer apperanace, so I make myself happy so may be that is the secret of my beauty.
