Maximising your potential! (II)
LAST week, I taught on how vision can help to stir up your mind. This week, I will be showing you how your mind can be stirred up through observation.
Observation is locating the footsteps of great people, and planting your feet there. Hebrews 6:12 talks about following those who inherited the promises of God, through faith and patience. Remember, he that walks with the wise (great) shall be wise (great) (Proverbs 13:20).
The secrets of great men are in their stories. So, link up with biographies that are relevant to your course and purpose in life. Study the lives of successful people, in a bid to locate their secrets. Then see where such secrets suit your life, and apply them.
Observation is connecting yourself to the steps of great minds, so you can realise your own destiny. Every main player in the field of life has a role model. So, locate your role
model and get acquainted with his or her secrets. Kenneth Hagin’s ministry, for instance, has never had a crisis, likewise ours. Why? I have been following his footsteps since 1997.
I’ve drunk too deeply into his spirit, and I have access to very many secrets that made him. So, I am not taking trial-and-error steps; I am taking conscious steps after great minds.
Following Hagin made me to stick with God’s assignment for my life, no matter how colourful other things looked like. He taught me what commitment and focus in ministry mean.
You won’t miss your way! So, carefully identify individuals who are already playing the role you are dreaming of playing, and line up with their ideas. Locate their steps and plant your feet in them. That is the way to go up in life!
Friend, the power for observation is available, if you are saved. You get saved by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as the Lord of your life. If you are set for it, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I am born again!
