SOME fans of Niger Tornadoes have urged the team's managment to relieve the team's chief coach, Ladan Bosso of his position owing to seemingly unimpressive performance of the team.

One of the worried fans, Saidi Abdulazeez who spoke with League Gallery after the Minna-based side recorded a 1-0 win over Stella de Abidjan in the WAFU Cup lamented that, the fortune of the team has not improved since the return of Bosso to the club from Wikki Tourists.

"Since Bosso took over the team, he believes so much in himself and does not welcome ideas that could help the team aside from his own. "You saw how we struggled to play against a team like Stella FC. We are not happy with the scoreline because we had the chance to beat this team by a wide margin but the problem has to do with coaching. We have a number of experienced players but we don't know why he did not parade them in this match of magnitude.

"Except a miracle happens in Abidjan, we should just forget about the return leg. Look at how we played today? the visitors were better except we want to deceive ourselves. We finished seventh last season and nobody is happy with that performance because we had hoped that the team would pick a continental ticket. The solution is to look for another coach to start afresh and we let the management know this," Abdulazeez said.
