I'll take Klitschko to the cleaners –Peter

THE Nigerian Nightmare, heavyweight, Sam Peter says he will floor IBF Champion Wladimir Klitschko on September 11 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The fight against Wladimir Klitschko is a rematch. In 2005 in Atlantic City, NJ, Peter knocked down Klitschko three times twice in the fifth round another in the 10th round -- but lost a decision. The scoring was 114-111 on all cards.

"Klitschko knows who won that fight. This time I am going straight in and take him out," Peter said. "It's not going to last real long."

Peter's chief trainer, Abel Sanchez said "...boxing has been searching for real excitement in the heavyweight division.

Sam Peter will be that excitement. We're going there to take out Klitschko, like real early."

Peter signed his contract in the Top Rank headquarters in Las Vegas. Bob Arum made the announcement.

Peter won an IBF Eliminator fight when he stopped Nagy Aguilera in Texas on March 12.  He was impressive, charging after and stopping Aguilera with a series of hard right hands in the second round.

Peter, 29, has a record of 34-3 with 27 knockouts.  He is a former WBC Heavyweight World Champion.

Ivaylo Gotzev, manager of Peter, said the challenger will leave this weekend for a press conference in Germany. Peter will then return and resume training in Big Bear, Calif.

Peter was born and raised in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.

"I punched hard while growing up in Nigeria," Peter said. "A big punch can turn around a fight real quick."
