ANPP is dead in Katsina state - Senator Abu Ibrahim
The recent resignation of the membership of All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), by General Muhammadu Buhari, has dealt a severe blow to the party in Katsina State.
Addressing a press conference in Katsina at the weekend, a former member of the National Assembly, Senator Abu Ibrahim, said following the directives given by Buhari, his supporters in the state had also followed suit.
According to him, “this is as a result of General Buhari’s call to his supporters last week Wednesday.”
Similarly, Senator Abu Ibrahim said, he and his political associates have declared their total support for General Buhari’s position and resigned their membership of the party in the state.
“This call came at a time which we feel is the best, consequently, we hereby resign our membership of the ANPP and call on our supporters who are not present here to resign forthwith from the party, in line with the General’s directive.”
While urging his political associates to abide with the General’s stand, he said further directives would soon be made on where next or which party to join.
