“I knew she'd be my wife because I saw something in her”

OLUSHOLA Olaseinde was in Ibadan to pay a visit to his parent but, little did he know he would meet his God-sent wife. Talking to Conjugal Affairs, he said: "I was taking a stroll that particular day when I noticed this beautiful young lady. I wasted no time in engaging her in a chat. It was then she told me she was on her way to a friend's place who, incidentally lives on the same street with my parents.

“Thereafter, I went straight to the point and said, I want you to marry me. I am sure you are my wife because I saw something in you". Eniola laughed instead of responding to my comments. So I decided to follow her to her friend's place since I had no other means of contacting her". Olushola said.

Months later, It took Olushola by surprise when Eniola came to him on the 11th of July, 2004 after she had returned from Lagos to inform Olushola that she accepted his proposal.

For Eniola, when "puppy", a pet name for Olushola, asked me to be his wife, I did not take him serious but his thought kept coming to my mind so I prayed over it.

“After the relationship kicked off, it took me sometime before I understood Olushola. He is a very difficult person and has a loud voice which I initially thought meant he was  mad at any little thing I did or said. So I would also raise my voice and this resulted in an argument. I later got used to Olushola's loud voice and understood him better". Eniola said.

Their love was sealed at Christ Apostolic Church, Eleyele, Ibadan, on 7th August, 2010.
