YOU are indeed welcome to this week’s edition in Jesus’ Name. All along, we’ve been discussing on the keys to be cultivated in cherishing and sustaining a growing marriage.

As I round off this week, I like to mention that the role and impact of a growing marriage cannot be quantified.  That is why we shall be exploring the Benefits Of A Growing Marriage.

Come along and let’s quickly consider some of these benefits:

Answers To Prayers – It is very obvious that if a marriage enjoys peace and love, there are speedy answers to their prayers (Matthew 18:19). The communication line between them and God becomes so clear and open, thereby, paving access directly to the throne of grace.

Growth and Progress – This’ another benefit of a growing marriage. Since both the husband and wife both understand what marriage is all about, progress on any issue is easy to make, thereby culminating in growth.

Strength and Support – Spouses easily lend a helping hand to one another when necessary, and also help each other’s weaknesses when they take up the responsibility of growing their marriage together.
Focus And Direction – In a growing marriage, spouses help each other to focus on agreed issues, in order not to lose direction.

Worthy Example – A growing marriage helps couple become worthy example to their children and even friends, relatives and colleagues at work to emulate good things.

Restoration And Renewal – A growing marriage helps to restore whatever might have been missing over time, and then renews the love they once had for each other in the beginning.

Guards Against Infidelity – A growing marriage guards against infidelity, because one of its attributes is a good healthy romance.  When romance between husband and wife is healthy, there’s no room for Satan to manifest in anyone’s life.

Peace and Inner Strength – A healthy growing marriage confers peace and inner strength on its beneficiary, thereby making their marriage heaven on earth for them.

Presence of God – God’s presence is evidence in a growing marriage because He’s ever happy that there is an accomplishment of His intention for instituting marriage.

To become born again, you have to genuinely confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.  If you are ready for this sweet experience, please say this prayer with me: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. I believe You died and rose on the third day for my sins.  I accept You as my Lord and Saviour.  Make me a child of God today.
