Casa Lucio hosts Glo Lafta Fest today
THE train is moving again with the Glo Lafta Festival coming to Ibadan for today, May 20, 2012.
The festival of comedy and music which has become an annual event where the telecommunication company take on a ride selected artistes and comedians to thrill its numerous subscribers.
The unique side of this year's festival is given as the choice location of the event, Casa Lucio.
The ultramodern event centre is a multimillion project constructed by Ibadan businessman,Asiwaju Gani Shonubi for classy events, parties, concerts and reality shows.
The choice of the centre by Glo is being described as welcoming to fans of the festival who cited the edifice, parking space and beautiful scenery of Casa Lucio depicts and complements the colourful event.
In the words of the CEO of Casa Lucio, Asiwaju Gani Shonubi he stated his commitment to raise the standard of entertainment in Ibadan and disclosed that “we plans to bring back the glorious days when entertainment was at its best in Ibadan.
We tried to analyse what we lack and observed that the city still lacks a modern, well equipped multi-purpose event centre and we quickly stepped in to work on that. This year's Glo Lafta Festival will show the world our effort which I know they will appreciate and I believe this will change the mentality of the people towards Ibadan”.
The festival which has on its line up Gbenga Adeyinka, Seyi Law, Wande Coal, Terry G, Eedris Abdulkarim and others is set to excite Glo subscribers with different attractions that they will remember for some time.
