He will guide you and provide a deliverer (I)
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way, which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8).
OUR text today contains fantastic promises of God. He promised to instruct you. Therefore, God is your instructor. You sure cannot fail in life if you listen to His instructions. He promised to teach you. God is your teacher; hence, you know what others do not know. He promised to direct you in the way to go. He promised to guide you with His eyes. Therefore, God is your guide. In your journey through life, you cannot fail. God is with you to see you through.
Why then do so many believers fail in life? We fail because God no longer does what He promised to do. We fail simply because we are not listening to God or doing what He says. This is why a serious counsel from God follows our text today.
“Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no under-standing: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee” (Psalm 32:9).
In order to take maximum advantage of God’s commitment to lead and guide you, make sure you listen very closely to Him. In addition, whatever He says to you, do it.
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).
This is not an empty statement. We miss our blessings because we do not listen to or obey the directives of the Lord. Do you know that there is somebody somewhere who has the knowledge, the ability, the skill, the resources and the contact to provide the exact solution to the challenges that you face right now…your deliverer? Yet, we miss this deliverer because we are most often not willing and obedient.
To assist David in ascending the throne of Israel, a Jonathan was needed. In order for Joseph to become what God wanted him to become, a butler was needed to tell the king about Joseph. In order for Esther to become a queen and the deliverer of Israel from calamity, a Mordecai was needed. If Solomon would successfully build the Lord’s temple, then a king Hiram must be in place. Even Jesus our Lord, for His ministry to be introduced to the community of Israel, a John the Baptist was needed. The deliverer that will launch you into your destiny shall come without delay. In what area of your life do you now need critical help? Ask God and He will send you help. A deliverer will arise for you. You will not be put to shame. You will sing and shout for joy.
