ADENIKE Oluranti Adepoju, a physician at the University of Connecticut, United States of America met  Oladimeji Stephen&  Ayeni  sometime in April 2009, at Bishop Oyemade Memorial Anglican Church, Oremeji Agugu, Ibadan, Oyo State.

She was introduced to him by her sister, a widow as Oko Opo (husband of the widow).   According to her, "I was surprised that a young man could bear such a name and when I asked him about it, he told me it was a nickname given to him in the church because of his interest in the welfare of widows in the church. We started talking and from there became good friends."

In June, two months after their first meeting, Stephen proposed to Adenike  but she did not  give him a response before she travelled back to the States. Stephen did not give up, he kept on pestering her until she sent  him a text.

Adenike revealed that, "after thinking about his proposal for two months, I decided to consider him and sent him a lovely text to say "yes."

Stephen said the day he received 'my baby's text' was the happiest day of his life.

Stephen and Adenike got married at the church where they met on December 29, 2010.
