OMOYELE Jude Omonira and former Miss Omowunmi Mojisola Oredein were both students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State  when they met in 2003.

The groom, Omoyele Omonira, a staff of Merchant Internet Payment System, YELGOLD International, told Conjugal Affairs that  he met his hearthrob when he followed  his friend, Stephen to Mozambic, a female hostel in OAU to woo a lady.  "On getting there, we met a friend with the lady called Omowunmi, who did not utter a word throughout our stay there. When we were about to leave I told our host that  I'd like her and her friend to accompany us and they both agreed.

"As we were walking down the road, we saw  a lady slapped a man in public and asked him to leave. This  incident ignited our interest  and we started discussing about it. Fortunately, Omowunmi joined us in that discussion and it was from there that we became  good friends.

"After a year of friendship,  I proposed to her, though  she refused at first, but after two months of pestering her, she agreed to marry me."

Omowunmi, a staff member of  Nigerian Brewery said she never knew they could be friends at first but when they became friends, she found their friendship interesting.

According to her, "I knew I loved him even before 'My Baby,' a pet name for Omonira, proposed. The only challenge I had with him was that being the only boy in the family, he does things like a woman." The lovebirds got married on November 20, 2010, at Rehoboth Cathedral, Oluyole Extention, Victory Church, Ibadan.
