OLUWATAYO Fashogbon woke up early  on  the morning of  Sunday, December 6, 2009  in order to get ready for the  Holy Communion service at his church, The Redmeed Christian Church of God, Victory Chapel, Province 21 headquarters, Lagos.

He made it to church on time and it was in the course of the service that he spotted a beautiful lady whom he said the Holy Spirit told him would be his wife. “The lady, I later discovered was a member of Daystar Christian Center, but was invited to our church by her cousin. I then  went to the cousin to get information about her,” Fashogbon said.

Speaking further with Conjugal Affairs, Fashogbon, who works with Portal Realities Ltd, said: “When the Holy Spirit told me that she is my wife, I told God that she must be single and ready for marriage. I learnt from her cousin that she is Yinka Akintola, a lawyer with  Oceanic Bank. We became friends and  I discovered that she was quiet, homely, accommodating, humble, loving, focused and a good cook. On the 1st of January 2010, I proposed to her.

“She didn't think that I was serious at first. Everything was like a surprise to her. However, in February, we went for the introduction. Her dad, Professor Festus Akintola of Geography Department, University of Ibadan, asked me, ”what do you want?”

“I told him I wished to marry his daughter in May and he agreed, but because my brothers were ready for marriage too, I had to postpone mine till September. We did the engagement at Le Chateau, on 10 September, 2010, while the church wedding held at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamasingba, Ibadan on Saturday, September 11, 2010," he said.
