‘Immediately he entered my shop, I knew he was the one’

Share

OLUWADAMILLARE Ojo was in his house on July 31, 2005,  when one of his friends  came and asked  him to accompany him to a fashion designer's shop at Eleyele area of  Ibadan, to collect his wife’s, clothes which had been at the place for months.

Since he had nothing doing at the time, he decided to do his friend's bidding. On getting to their destination,  they met the proprietress, Ajilore Kehinde Oluwatosin, who gave them the clothes they came for.

Oluwadamilare, speaking with  Conjugal Affairs  on what later happened, said "My friend and I were impressed by Tosin's work. The clothes she made  for  my friend's wife were beautiful. Admiring her creativity  ( I mean the clothes she designed), especially the finishing which was perfectly done, it  was easy to see that the designer herself must be a perfect person.  There and then, I decided within myself to get to know the lady better.

"my friend and I left Tosin's shop for our place of work, Tajeef Ventures, Eleyele, Ibadan,  but I made sure I  went back to her shop later in the day to  ask her out.  After some time, she consented my proposal  and five years later, we got married."

Oluwatosin  on her own part said when ‘Temi’(Mine), her petname for Oluwadamilare,  made love overtures to me, I was dumbfounded because immediately he entered my shop, my mind told me that he would be my husband. So, I was surprised  he was thinking along the same line with me but I told him that I  would think about it  and get back to him later."

Oluwatosin said she later gave him the expected answer, ‘yes’ and the relationship started.

The loverbirds got married at Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C), Oke Ibukun, Eleyele, Ibadan, on October, 9 2010.
