Tourism minister demands commitment from civil servants

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation,  Edem Duke, has called on civil servants to cultivate good working relationships in order to transform all sectors of the economy.  Chief Duke made the call while receiving   Anasthasia M. Daniel Nwaobia, the new permanent secretary of the ministry.

The Minister enjoined staff of the ministry to show greater loyalty and commitment to the vision of President Goodluck Jonathan who is passionate about changing Nigeria for good.  He added that the programmes of Jonathan’s transformation agenda will be achieved if those saddled with the responsibility of executing them have and maintain good working relationships.

Chief Duke, who warmly welcomed the new permanent secretary, promised to work closely with her to achieve the goals ministry. In her response, Mrs.  Nwaobia said she has come to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation with an open mind and enjoined staff to be conscientious in the discharge of their duties.
