Kidnapping: Canadian firm offers to help Nigeria

BARELY five days after some kidnappers kidnapped Pa Simeon Soludo,the father of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo,a great relief came as a Canadian firm over the weekend, offered to assist Nigeria tackle its perennial security problem.

The Canadian security firm, Inkastrans Limited has announced plans to hold a three days exhibition on “Emerging Security Challenges” in the nation’s capital, Abuja .

The joint exhibition is expected to attract security top chiefs including all the service chiefs, serving and former Inspectors General of Police under the chairmanship of Alhaji Ibrahim Coomasie will attend the all important forum.

Scheduled for the Transcorps Hilton hotel, Abuja , next Monday, the event will show case the latest innovations in security management, municipal, cooperate and personal approach on safety measures including “safe city”.

A spokesman of the company, Mr. Eugeni Stankevichi in a press statement, stated that the exhibition would feature state of the art security equipment including armoured vehicles of both luxury cars, bullion vans, surveillance and monitoring systems ranging from personal to city wide security solutions.
