Mikel Returns To Eagles

altCHELSEA midfielder, Mikel Obi will stage return to the Super Eagles for a 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Liberia, officials of the NFF have disclosed.

Mikel has been sensationally left out of the Nigerian team for sometime over questions surrounding his commitment to the national team. He is expected to be named among the players expected to stage a return to the team for the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier in Monrovia.

Apart from Mikel, other players Keshi has pencilled down for recall are Nosa Igiebor  and Russia based Emmanuel Emenike.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi is expected back in the country soon after it was confirmed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has sealed an international friendly deal with Niger Republic.

If things go as planned, the match has been slated to hold on August 15 in Niamey and the big boss, according to information is due back in the country for the team's camping.
