3SC coach, Festus Allen, has declared that his team is ready for the Week 8 of the Nigeria Premier League match against Sunshine Stars of Akure today at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium, Ibadan.
Allen, in a telephone chat with Nigeria Premier League Focus said, “We are fully prepared for the match, that was why we organised a friendly match during the week against Marvellous FC which we won 3-0. With what I saw on display by the boys on that day I can see that they are in high spirit and ready to give their best as far as the match is concerned”.
He therefore assured 3SC fans to expect nothing other than victory over Sunshine Stars later today. Meanwhile, the management of 3SC has applauded the decision of the Nigeria Premier League in approving the return of the club to Obafemi Awolowo Stadium having played its last home match at the M.KO Abiola International stadium, Abeokuta against Dolphin of Port Harcourt in a Week 6 Premier League cracker.
Club Manager, Mutiu Adepoju, said, “We are grateful to the Nigeria Premier League for rescinding its decision by approving our return to Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
