The board of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has requested six clubs to forward their home grounds to it on or before September 10 after their venues were termed unfit to host league matches by the board.

That was one of the decisions taken by the board at the end of its meeting held in Abuja on Thursday.

Reaffirming its position regarding the use of TV and football friendly stadia for the league matches,  the board directed the following clubs; 3SC of Ibadan, Sunshine Stars of Akure, Gombe United, Zamfara United,  Niger Tornadoes and Lobi Stars of Makurdi to submit their home grounds. It also urged the four prospective qualifiers for Premier League; Crown FC, Bukola Babes, Plateau United and JUTH FC  to comply with this new directive.

The Board agreed to collaborate with the following Television  stations; Channels, LTV, NTA, Supersports and AIT  to inspect the grounds of  the clubs.

On the  2010 Super 4, Draws and Congress, the board having gone through the financial reports  appreciated Total Promotion Ltd for its contribution and indeed commended the Chairman (Mr. Davidson Owumi) for bringing the principles of financial prudence into the management of funds during the Super 4, Congress and Draws in Ijebu-Ode.

It also commended the secretariat for ensuring that the registration materials for 2010/2011 league season which kicks off on the 25th September, 2010 with a star match involving Kaduna Utd FC and Kano Pillars FC in Kaduna are ready. It also but resolved to with hold the distribution of the materials pending the final ratification of the league table and dates by the NFF.
