700 Houses Face Demolition In Nasarawa
Over 700 houses in about five metropolitan areas in Nasarawa State are to be demolished by the government for encroachment on public property.
Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura announced this recently in Lafia, while receiving the report of a committee set up to look into trespassing on government property.
He said, “government would not fold its arms and watch people use government property for their selfish ends. Anybody found guilty of transgressing into government property will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.”
