What Are The Effects Of Late-Child Bearing?

Share

Dear Yemisi,
I am a 33-year-old man about to marry an age mate. I am confused because people are saying that the lady is too old and that she might not be able to have babies.
Please, what are the consequences of late-child bearing?
Please, I need your help.
Anonymous.

Dear Anonymous,
Your fears and anxiety are understandable. But you shouldn’t allow the comments /opinions of people be the basis for your choice and decision. Who are the people to counsel you against a lady you have promised your love?
But Mr Anonymous, you knew her age before you promised her that she would be yours. I hope you are not flying a kite so as to go ahead with your plan to dump her because of her age.
Are the people counselling you medical doctors to determine her fertility status? It appears to me that you have been nursing having a secret lover that you have promised your commitment.
If they are saying that she is too old, what of you? Do you accept that you are equally an old man?
If you would want to listen to this flimsy excuse, please allow her to go, and stop wasting her time. Have you prayed that she wouldn’t get pregnant after you might have legally come together as one? Are you having a health problem that you wouldn’t want her to know about? If you are healthy and fertile, there is no cause for alarm.
Please, get your acts together, because this is a new year and if you would want to start a new affair, decide on time before it is too late.
