She is an ambassador. Before you start asking ‘to which country’? don’t get it wrong ab initio.Though she is not an ambassador in the mould of Bianca Ojukwu, she is an ambassador all the same; an ambassador for Women In Africa, an organisation dedicated to the cause of women across the continent.

Stella Damasus is not new to followers of Nollywood scene where she has made a mark in over a decade of acting and movie-making.

As usual she has had her own share of bad gossips trailing her. Some of the gossips include the one which said that she was detained by the NDLEA for drug possession at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in lagos on her way out of the country. Another said she was sighted at the bar beach inside a car with Richard Mofe-Damijo ‘doing something.’ Of course she was upset but she has learnt to live with such ‘wicked rumours’ about her.

Even after she lost her husband Jaye Aboderin the rumours would not stop. She was allegedly sighted with Sammy Okposo several times sparking a rumour that both were dating. The delectable lady of the screen however said in a recent interview that in spite of her experience she has not given up on love.

Any plan to settle down soon? came the question. Her reply was that “I don’t want to talk about that now; but I still believe in love. Everything is in God’s hands.”
