Malaria And Mosquito Bites

Share

Good day doctor and God bless you. Please sir any time I am bitten by a mosquito, I will begin to feel feverish almost immediately. Some doctors said it is psychological, while others said it is about my level of immunity. I tend to agree with the latter. If it is so sir, what can I be doing to boost my immunity while I try to prevent mosquito bites. Thanks  sir.

Your instant feeling of malaria after being bitten by a mosquito must be a psychological one. This is because, it takes about ten days from when you are bitten for the effect of the malaria infection to start showing in you. This period is the time it takes for the malaria parasites to complete its life cycle in the body. In order to have a complete cure from malaria, I suggest you see a doctor who will order for a thorough blood examination for you to rule out any other possible infection.
