Severe Pains In My Knees

Share

I have been having pains in my knees and waist, especially at the right side for a year now and my frequent visits to the hospitals have not brought any improvement. I have always been given a small light-red tablet, one to be taken with food and another pink-blue capsule also one per day after food. But there has been no relief. At times, the pain spreads to the back of the bone of my thigh making it difficult to walk well. Sir, what can I do? What is likely to be the problem? Is it curable and where can I be treated?

In view of this long duration of pains in the knees and waist, I think you will benefit from some investigations such as blood and urine examinations as well as x- rays of the bones. This is because, there are various kinds of ailments that manifest as bone pains which can only be detected through some laboratory investigations.  Since you didn’t indicate your age, it is difficult to guess what the actual ailment will be. However, a detailed physical examination, preferably by a specialist physician at the nearest specialist or teaching hospital to you will give pointers to your ailment. It is only then that one can say if the disease is curable or not.
