Omisore Vows To Return To Senate

Following the order by the appeal court for re-run of the Osun East Senatorial election, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has declared that he would win the re-run election with over 80 per cent, as his opponents stand no chance against him.

Omisore, who was at the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to confer with the leadership, told Saturday Tribune that the apparent instability in politics of the South West was caused by the Action Congress (AC).

He recalled his previous victory in the election, which he said was an overwhelming victory, describing his opponents as “paper tigers” whom he believed, could not win any councillorship election in the state.
