Fuji fest 2010: FUMAN to visit S/West Govs

Saka-OroboAS plans to host the first ever all-inclusive fuji festival in Nigeria, the Saka-Orobo-led FUMAN is set to visit some governors in the South West, just as the National President has instructed the body’s General-Secretary, Iyanda Ganiyu Composer, to summon Oyo state Gov of FUMAN, Taofeek Omoowo, before its Disciplinary Committee, under Taju System, to face the committee for disobeying its Elders orders on the swearing in of elected officers into the Ibadan zonal posts of FUMAN.
An outfit, G’ENNIE Leisure, with the approval from FUMAN, is set to hold a two-day fuji music festival that will feature top fuji musicians in a state yet to be decided, hence the proposed visit to some governors for support, just as two telecoms companies are set to support in ensuring that the Festival holds.
Composer said his president was wrought that Omoowo had refused to swear-in elected officers into Ibadan FUMAN offices and wants the DC to take action on the governor.
“The governor has between now and Wednesday to swear in these officers or he will be decisively dealt with,” Composer asserted.
The decision to deal with Taofeek was taken during a meeting that had Abase Akande Obesere, Adewale Ayuba, Remi Aluko, Sulaimon Adio, Taiye Currency, and several others, in attendance.
