Obuh: Eaglets played to instruction

Chief Coach of the National U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, John Obuh has commended his lads for beating Argentina 2-1 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa memorial Stadium in the last group A match of the on-going FIFA U-17 World Cup saying that the boys actually played to instructions.

The Coach who was speaking to Sports Journalists shortly after the pulsating encounter said that, “against all odds we have been able to come tops of the group. At the draws, the group was described as group of death but we have been able to make it lively with our performances.”

John Obuh also expressed happiness that the team has gradually graduated from, “playing small football to now playing big football and wining big. Our beating Argentina today (yesterday) was a big victory for us considering that Argentina is big football playing nation.”
