IT was one fateful morning while I was still in bed that my mummy came to wake me up with a birthday song and immediately, I remember it was June 19, my birthday! I have even forgotten it was my birthday. My Mummy really gave me a special treat because she had actually invited my friends and teachers to come over and celebrate with me. I was so happy and my joy knew no bounds. I love my mummy so much and I can never forget that day.

I celebrated my last birthday on March 14, 2012. My parents and siblings prayed for me early in the morning and sang a birthday song for me. Though it was not an elaborate party, but I was happy I celebrated it with my family members. My mummy cooked a special meal for us and stepped it down with a chilled bottle of wine. I wish it never ended.

I celebrated my last birthday on  May17, 2012. My mummy and daddy prayed for me early in the morning and thereafter, my mummy gave me the cake she baked for me which I took to school and shared with my colleagues. When my daddy came back in the evening, he gave me a computer set and a musical instrument as birthday gifts.

I celebrated my last birthday at home on May 20, 2012. My dad and mum took me to Mr Bigg's at New Gbagi market, and bought my favourite food for me. In the evening, some of my mum's relatives and my daddy's younger brother came around to celebrate with me and gave me money and gifts. It was fun all through.

I celebrated my last birthday on November 5, 2011. It was a bright and sunny day  at school. I brought a party dress, drinks and snacks to school for my friends. I was  so happy because I was privileged to celebrate another birthday in good health and with lovely people around me and I am looking forward to this year's celebration.

It was on January 7, 2012 and it was the most exciting birthday I have ever celebrated in my life. It was on a Saturday and my parents took me out, bought a new T-shirt, jean trousers and a pair of canvas shoes to match. I was the one who chose the kind of food we ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I must confess, it was fun all through.
