Who is a good student?

altA good student is one who obeys the laid down rules and regulations of the school. A good student is always punctual and exhibit positive attitudes such as humility, honesty, respectfulness, determination, doggedness and discipline. He must be well dressed at all times because she will be addressed the way she dressed. A good student is confident and focused on the future.
Judith Onwukwe, 13 years old, JSS 3.

A good student is expectant of a bright future. So, he plans ahead for it and make sure it is achieved by all means. A good student doesn’t allow anything whatsoever to distract his attention from achieving his/her aim in life. He gives whatever it takes and sacrifices whatever is necessary to make it in life.
Joshua Afolabi, 11 years old, JSS 1.

To me, a good student is one who always looks back and remembers the kind of home he is coming from and focuses on that which he has been sent to do in school, which is basically to learn and study . Also, he listens attentively to his teachers when it’s time to impact knowledge and he gives due respect to people in authority. A good student must always be punctual, appear neat, obedient and polite.
Emmanuel Oyedele, 12 years old, JSS 2.

A good student is attentive in the class and pays attention to all that is happening in the school environment. A good student is an ambassador of Christ. He doesn’t settle for less. He is brilliant, honest, trustworthy, humble and obedient, among other attributes. He/she is rules and regulations compliant whether in school, church, home or wherever.
Oluwaseyi Fasan, 13 years old, JSS 2.

A good student is a responsible child by all standard both at school AND home. He has a positive attitude towards all that it takes to succeed. Therefore, he put his best into his academics. He dresses decently, contented with whatever he possess and God-fearing. A good student will always obey his teachers, seniors, parents and the school authority.
Faruk Isa, 10 years old, JSS 1.

A good student has a future ambition and does her best to pursue it wholeheartedly. A student who wants to become a professional such as doctor, lawyer, engineer, nurse, pharmacist, banker or journalist must be hardworking to be able to achieve her aim. She listens to advice and follows it dearly. A good student will do her parents proud. I am a testimony to this because I am a good girl.
Ifeoluwa Salawudeen, 10 years old, JSS 1.
