Niger to build N1.4bn small scale factories in Minna •Signs MoU with US-based company

The Niger State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a United States- based company, Nochez International Limited, for the construction of 90 units of small scale factories at the state’s  industrial park, in Minna, the state capital, otherwise known as President Goodluck Jonathan’s place.

 

3% levy: NIMASA warns stakeholders

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) declared at the weekend that it would continue to demand and collect its statutory three per cent levy, despite a purported ruling of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, to the contrary.

Marketers fault 2013 budget provision for fuel subsidy

Marketers believed there are not enough provisions for fuel subsidy in the 2013 budget following indications that the Federal Government may finally remove subsidy provision on imported refined products next year.
