Odu’a backs NIM confab with N1m

In a strong show of support for the ethical practice of management in the country, the team from Odu’a Investment Company Limited, led by the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the conglomerate, Mr Adebayo Jimoh, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) headquarters at Victoria Island, Lagos, over the weekend, ahead of the institute’s National Management Conference (NMC).

President and Chairman of council of NIM, Dr Michael Olawale-Cole, was on hand with other executives of NIM to receive the Odu’a GMD who was accompanied by the Genral Manager, Human Resources, Mr Bimbola Ilori and the Head, Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Mr Sunkanmi Omidiji.

A cheque of N1,000,000 was  presented by Odu’a in support of the NMC slated for 23 to 25 of July, 2012, in Abuja .  Receiving the cheque, NIM President expressed gratitude for the donation. He said that Odu’a was managed by people who matched words with actions.   Mr Adebayo Jimoh noted that the theme of the NMC was germane, saying that the conference would afford attendees the opportunity to learn new management strategies and better equip professionals with the capacity to manage the economy in view of global economic challenges amidst scarce resources.  The NIM president anticipated a strong showing by Odu’a at the conference and pledged the support of NIM towards Odu’a in the areas of  capacity building, consultancy and human capital development drive.
