MICRO small and medium scale entrepreneurs in Ogun State have been enjoined to maximise the potentials derivable from the OGSG-BOI industrial development fund scheme.

This submission was made  by the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Chief Bimbola Ashiru, during a sensitisation tour to the Ifo-Otta axis of the state, saying the scheme remained a veritable tool for poverty alleviation and wealth creation.

He said that the tour was aimed at creating more awareness for artisans and craftsmen at the grassroots to benefit from the scheme, which he noted was in line with the present administration’s resolve to reduce poverty and unemployment.

The Commissioner  was represented by a Senior Trade Officer in the Department of Investment Promotion, Mr. Lateef Oladipupo,  who explained that accessing the loan facility was devoid of stringent requirements adding that an office of the Bank of Industry is domicile in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to fastrack the transaction process.
