Federation Cup: Aregbesola storms Ilorin for Prime FC
GOVERNOR Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State will tomorrow lead members of the executive council of the state to the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin, to drum support for the state's representative in the ongoing Federation Cup, Prime FC of Osogbo as it confronts Heartland FC of Owerri in the Semi-final of the 2012 Federation Cup.
Aregbesola in his bid to mobilise support for the team has approved the provision of free rail transportation to convey fans to the Kwara State capital tomorrow, this he said would make the players feel motivated on the field of play and put in their best to secure a victory over Heartland.
Chairman, Osun State Football Association, Taiwo Ogunjobi, has affirmed that players and officials of Prime FC are well motivated and prepared in the right frame of mind to cause another upset by eliminating the defending champions.
Ogunjobi reiterated that Prime would do everything possible to get a victory due to the level of preparedness of the team ahead of the all-important match and believes the presence of Aregbesola and his cabinet would spur the team to victory.
Meanwhile, Emir of Ilorin, Sulu Gambari has showered blessing on the team to triumph over their opponents. The Emir gave his blessings to the team when he was paid a courtesy visit.
