3SC fans beg for Meshack's inclusion

FANS of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) are worried over the exclusion of striker Meshack Chukwubuikem in the last three games, thus called on the team's management to pardon him if it was as a result of punitive measure.

The former Anambra United player last featured for the Oluyole warlords  in Ilaro against Gateway FC in the Week 20 of the Globacom Premier League where the team recorded its first away win of the season.

Some of the fans who spoke with Tribunesports wondered why the former Pepsi Academy star was abandoned by the technical crew.

"Honestly, we don't know why this boy (Meshack) is being sidelined after the game against Gateway. He is very fit and save for pettiness, there is no reason why he should be not be dressed," a die-hard fan of 3SC asked after the team's 0-0 draw with Enyimba on Wednesday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

Another worried fan stated that "the management should be professional in all its dealings. They should know how to manage a productive player like Meshack under any circumstances except if he is injured and not fit enough to play.

“We should consider the contribution of this boy (Meshack) in taking this team back to the Premier League.”
