A year ago when the Lagos State government promulgated the Lagos Tenancy Law, not a few residents of the state had arms akimbo to see where the whole development would lead.

Minister of Environment, Mrs Hadiza Ibrahim Mailafia, has lamented the spate of flood incidents in the country and called for combined effort from the citizenry so as to curtail the problem, saying that “lives can be saved and losses minimised if flood alerts are taken more seriously.”
