IDL to visit South-West traditional rulers

In fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility and in its respect for tradition and culture, Intercontinental Distillers Limited, makers of Eagle Majesty Aromatic Schnapps, West 2, led by the sales operations manager, Mr Olumide Makinde, has embarked on visitation to prominent traditional rulers and chiefs within the South-West from Ipetumodu and Gbongan in Osun State, to Iseyin, Ido and Eruwa in Oyo State.

The visitation is aimed at creating cordial relationships with traditional rulers and chiefs in the states, based on the fact that IDL brands are noted for sponsorship of local festivals, indigenous events and adding value to the Yoruba culture and tradition over the years.

“IDL and its brands are world-class, and will continue to be the preferred choice in Yorubaland, due to its unflinching support for cultural values of Yoruba tradition, and all Obas and chiefs in the entire South-West of the country.

“From Apetu of Ipetumodu, Oba James Adegoke Akunraledoye II; Olufi of Gbongan, Oba (Dr) Adetoyese Oyeniyi Odugbemi 1; Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba (Dr) Abdulganiy Adekunle Salau (JP), to Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola (JP), it was royal blessings for the brand throughout, as they have endorsed the brand for their respective town events,” Makinde said.
