AS long fuel queues resurfaced in Abuja metropolis and its environs, owing to the alleged non-payment of fuel subsidy claims to oil marketers by the Federal Government, most petrol stations in the city have reportedly started hoarding the product, ostensibly to make a quick gain while the crisis persists.

To this end, motorists and commuters have been experiencing problem to get the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), a situation that had made them to seek relief from black markets.

Checks by the Nigerian Tribune reflected that despite the fact that some of the petrol stations had petroleum products, they refused to dispense same to motorists, who had been keeping vigils at the stations since the queue resurfaced on Wednesday.

Most of the motorists accosted by the Nigerian Tribune said 10 litres of fuel was being sold for between N3,000 and N3,500.
