TRADE Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), at the weekend, challenged the Federal Government to tell Nigerians why charges against some of the oil subsidy fraud suspects have been withdrawn, stressing that it would have been left for the courts of law to decide.

Its President-General, Peter Esele, who addressed newsmen at the end of the three-day National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the union, held at Airport Hotel, Ikeja, noted that the congress expressed support for the statement of the Attorney-General of the Federation that it was not business as usual for those found guilty of the subsidy scam.

On minimum wage, the labour leader said the NEC had resolved to resist all attempts by governors to ensure the minimum wage was removed from the constitution, as the minimum wage is the fulcrum that holds the society together.”

Esele lacks moral right to make the comment capable of stirring crisis from where he benefits, he is one of the beneficiaries of oil fraud in Nigeria. Always playing to be heard and settled.
