PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has, again, commiserated with the government and people of Ghana over the death of President John Atta-Mills, last week.

Speaking on Tuesday in State House, while playing host to a five-man delegation from Ghana, led by  Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, he recalled the shock and sadness with which he received the news of the demise of the president.

He told the delegation, which brought a special message from the new Ghanaian president, John Dramane Mahama, that he was shocked and sad when he heard of the passing away of President Atta-Mills.

President Jonathan said Nigeria would be represented at the funeral at the highest level, adding that an official delegation would be sent to convey the country’s condolence before the burial.

He assured President Mahama of Nigeria’s continued support and cooperation, stating that “Nigeria will continue to work with Ghana. We will continue to consult on bilateral, regional, continental and global issues.”

Earlier, Alhaji Mumuni, had delivered a message from President Mahama and expressed appreciation for the concern and love shown to Ghana by President Jonathan and the people of Nigeria at the time of sorrow.

Nigeria has always love Ghana so much but Ghana was never reciprocating likewise .I make reference to the recent discriminating Policy targeting Nigerians that we must have a minimum of $300000 to do business in Ghana.
