Environmental stress could have led to that, when you consider the present security challenges facing our police and military officers especially in the north, with little or no relief or medical provisions and standard condition of service to face the harsh situations. Accumulated stress can lead to madness or death. I hereby call on the police and military authorities to as a matter of urgency organize special and improved working condition for officers presently serving in the northern part of the country in order to ease the effect of environmental and pshycological challenges or stress which their job pose on them. However, Nigerians should all learn to reason like enlightened people and stop condemning our security agencies whenever there is sad news about them, at least some of them lost their lives while trying to protect our lives. They should be regarded as our FALLEN HEROES.

I think some Nigerians have to think very well before writing comments on internet, imaging what Francis Cole wrote above, the first person to comment here, is this a sign of normal human being or sign of abnormal human being? I think if this guy should have been a Policeman or Soldier man he would be brutal in his behavior, such dastardly acts happens everywhere in the world, sometimes ago in Norway, many in United Kingdom and United States like the last in Colorado, those ones are not uniform personnel but civilians. I really agree with Abdulrazak above, Government should try to pay more attention to our Uniform personnel. We go to bed every night while they are there in the night whether raining or not, so lets try and appreciate them, In US or UK where we have every equipments to fight crime we still have killings and robberies here and there, when Funso Williams was killed in Lagos, the UK police officers that came to Lagos praises our Police men in Nigeria that if they can be performing their duties under the meager equipments they have, they will be one of the best in the world if Federal Govt can provide what other Western world provide for their security personnel to fight crime. God bless Nigeria because it is only our Country.
