Please let somebody who is wiser tell him that it means the PDP perform well and better than him or what has he to show for 88billion in 18months?

My dear Ogbeni-Governor, if it's true that your problem with Mimiko is political, then it means you are not against him for non-performance. So, you have no justification for calling him names. It is only reasonable that all of us cannot sleep with our heads positioned in the same direction. The beauty of democracy cannot even be seen if all Southwestern states belong to the same party, because all of us would be 'seeing' things the same way. When two people always agree, it means one of them is irrelevant. We should always have an opposing side to keep us on our toes. It should not always go the way of Osun State House of Assembly without a single opposition. If you are sincere about Southwest integration, it should be open to input from all stakeholders in the Southwest project; it shouldn't be party-based. All of us have our roots here; hence, the issue of 'amulumala' is totally uncalled for. Above all, let the people of Ondo State determine Governor Mimiko's fate. Enough of this meddling in other people's affairs. 'Physician, heal thyself!'

I have not been to either Osun or Ondo States to assess their respective governor's performance. I don't want to base my assessments on others comments either, so I am left with their Governor's decorum and speech. Mimiko has behaved more as omoluabi than janduku. You are either an area boy or or refined gentle man. South west integration need not be tied to ACN who are not democratic in outlook and actions.

I have always had my fear for what events and name stresses. This guy is more of a tout than any nonsense omoluabi.

Ogbeni Governor, why do you issues with Mimiko politically,though both of you are occupying the same position but you are not operating from the same state and party.

You dont need an ACN governor in Ondo State to achieve regional integration in the West. If your integration plan is laudable, nothing stops Gov. Mimiko from buying into it. Are you saying until Nigeria is under one party, no serioud development will take place. This is standing logic on its head.

It is indeed shameful that people who claimed to be progressives are behaving in the most-unprogressive manners! Concerning Ondo State Governorship's election, ACN will be be defeated 'moonslidely'! Let this garulous governor concentrate on its remaining days tenure, I am sure he will be voted out at the next opportunity by the now WISER-PEOPLE of Osun State . Ondo State indigenes are not robbot-managed voters. We will use our votes wisely. ACN are only dreaming and if dreams are horses, beggars (ACN) might make any impact in the fortcoming election!

Mr Dear Ogbeni Aregbesola,

The Leader is not always correct with his view, but he is always the Leader!

I submit that, the whole essence of Nigeria operating as a Federation, for over 4 decades and running the expensive system we have, is to allow each federating unit to develop at its own pace. It's impossible to expect all states to develop at the same pace or indeed, for a region to be able to guarrantee unified and uniform development across the voluntary participants of its region. Nigeria has toyed with the unitary system before, during the First Republic and found it unsuitable for our modern day challenges.

To suggest that Ondo State cannot be part of SW integration unless and until it falls within the net of the ACN and to delay the start of integration until such a time as ACN has a full hand, is preposterous and has always baffled me whenever it rang in my eardrums.

Pray please, identify just one developmental project which will be of benefit to the people of Ondo State that ANY Ondo State governor, let alone Dr Olusegun Mimiko, would refuse to take credit for during his limited tenure of office.

The 9 states that make up the Niger Delta region cuts across 3 geo-political zones, i.e. the SW, SS and SE and they are under the control of 4 different political parties, namely: LP, PDP, APGA and ACN. This has not stopped them from devising a solution to the power problem in the region through the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) which is engaged in establishing Independent Power Plants (IPP’s) for the region. Progress is being made, none of them waited until one political party controlled all the 9 states, which will probably never happen.

I can only assume that the real reason for the affection towards Ondo State is 'financial' rather than 'political' as stated by Leader, given that Ondo state is the only SW Niger Delta state and it ranks very prominently in the Federation Account pecking order. It would appear that the real drive is to use the status of Ondo State as a cash-cow, to develop the region.

Decisions for Ondo state should lie first within Ondo State and taken by the people of the state.
