Pray for peace, C&S leader charges Nigerians

Share

AS Christians begin the Lenten season today, the Primate of Motailatu Church Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide, Archbishop I. M. Akinadewo, on Tuesday, urged Nigerians to dedicate their lives to God and seek peace always.

In a statement from the international headquarters of the church in Ondo, Archbishop Akinadewo said there would be peace in the country if all Nigerians followed the biblical teaching of Jesus Christ, which is “love your neighbours as yourselves.”

The cleric advised Nigerians to respect those in authority, so that the country could move forward.

“As we begin Ash Wednesday tomorrow (today), Nigerians should humble themselves, pray, seek the face of God, turn from their wicked ways and all will be well.”
