The new Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar said he would be different, do well and make good progress with reference to security.

If he can restore the efficiency and integrity of the police  in  maintaining law and order without prejudice, he will succeed in his new assignment. Also, if he makes a point of addressing the insecurity issue in the country, especially the Boko Haram and robbery attacks that have taken an alarming dimension, his name will be written in gold.

Also, policemen and women should stop collecting N20 on their unnecessary roadblocks, but should be given necessary training to focus on their job and effectively fight crimes, while saying no to the maltreatment of suspects.
